I have always been interested in various electronics. My mother says that since the age of 5, I would take things apart and then try to fix them. She remembers me taking a VHS player apart because a tape had gotten stuck inside. I have also always loved analyzing computers and figuring out how they work. It still blows my mind how it is simply a bunch of 1s and 0s creating all that magic.
Towards the end of high school, I really started to think about what I wanted to do after graduating. In my church we have a small private school, and they needed someone to help them with the computer lab. They were having problems with some computers. I volunteered to see what I could do for them.
As the years went on and my skill set started to grow, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. Later, I enrolled in college at DMACC and took every class I could. I would still love to go back and take some follow up classes as technology is constantly evolving.
I’m excited to be able to serve the public with my knowledge and skills, and I’m looking forward to meeting you!
